I was 80 pounds overweight when we started working together 3 months ago. Through Lionel’s expertise and collaborative teaching, I have lost almost 20 pounds and losing more each week. I joined Spa 23 over a year ago and went to the gym 2-3 times a week. I followed several different programs found on Youtube channels, the internet, and my own ideas. I gained some muscle but continued to gain weight over the year. I had enough and realized the only thing I haven’t tried was one-on-one training.
The biggest surprise through this process is that I am spending about the same amount of time at the gym and not doing that much more “work”. Since the program is tailored specifically for me, my time working out is more effective causing the weight loss to occur. In addition, the micro adjustments in the routine and diet keep up with my training. I wish I didn’t waste the year prior doing it on my own but I’m glad I finally decided to use personal training.
