What to send with your child daily:

– Beach towel 

– Aerosol sunscreen (counselors can only apply spray on sunscreen) 

– Reusable water bottle

– Lunch & 2 Snacks (please note there is no refrigeration for lunches; freshly prepared lunch may be purchased)

– Send your child to camp wearing their bathing suit, camp t-shirt & sneakers.

-Change of clothes (optional)

Drop Off/Pick up Procedures

Before Care (7:45am-8:30am): Drop off is held at the side door of Spa 23.

Regular Camp drop off starts at 8:55am in the back parking lot of PV Park. 

A counselor will meet you at your car and unload your camper(s). Please stay in line and wait for a counselor to unload your camper(s).  For your safety, please do not park and walk children across the parking lot. If you want to talk to a CAMP director, please drop your campers off first, then park and walk over.

Regular pick up starts after 3:45pm in the back of PV Park. Please pull up in a line – do not park in the spots as we want to avoid any traffic jams. 

After care pick up will be held at the back gate of PV Park until 6pm. In the event you are running late, please let us know what time you will be arriving by calling 973-839-8823. Any pick up after 6pm will result in a $15 late fee.  

Inclement Weather Procedures

In case of morning inclement weather: A message will be sent out informing you that camp will be held inside.  Drop off will be at the side door of Spa 23. A counselor will meet you at your car and unload your camper(s). Do NOT park. Please stay in line and go through the back parking lot to loop around to exit the parking lot safely.  DO NOT drop off at the front door entrance. We use the side entrance for CAMP to ensure the safety and accountability for all campers.

In case the weather changes when we are at the park, we will send out a message letting you know that our campers and counselors have walked back to Spa 23. Pick up will be held at the side door of Spa 23. 

For Campers with Epi Pen and Asthma Inhaler Needs:

Put inhaler or epi pen in a zip lock bag with the following listed:

How can I register my child for Camp Spa23?

To register your child, please follow the google registration form that is linked above.
All registrations must be completed -and paid for- 7 days prior to the week of camp that you’re selecting. For example, when registering your child for Week 1: June 24th – June 28th, the google form must be completed before June 17th. This allows time for staff to set-up a payment date, and plan rosters for each week. Weeks will be removed from the form when 7 days out from the start date.

Can I switch camp weeks after I have purchased them?

Yes, there is a $50 fee to switch weeks.
The deadline to switch weeks is 7 days before the start of the week.

How do I know what is planned for my week at camp?

On the Friday prior to your week, you will receive an email that includes all the fun activities scheduled for the upcoming week. There will also be special theme activities each week, concluding with a themed All Camp Activity on Friday afternoon! 

How will Spa23 communicate with me about Camp?

The main form of communication to all parents is through  Facebook alerts. Spa23 understands how important it is to know where your child is during the day especially during inclement weather. Anytime Camp moves to/from the park, you will be notified via our Facebook group. If at any time you are not receiving emails, nor seeing Facebook posts, please let us know.
If ever needed, Camp Staff will contact Parents directly via phone. 

Where does Before Care take place?

Before care starts at 7:45am until 8:30am and takes place at Spa 23.
Before Care campers walk with chaperones to the PV Park, promptly at 8:30am.

Where does After Care take place?

After care starts at 4pm until 6pm and takes place at PV Park.  

What is needed to finalize registration?

–   Completion of the Registration Papers

–   Immunization form

–   Copy of health insurance card

–   Camp Code of Conduct

–   Camp release form

–   Full Payment of Camp Invoice

All this must be completed 7 days before the first day of camp. Camp Invoice will be sent to registrants within 72 hours of completion. Payment of Camp Invoice is preferred -and safer- in person at Spa23. If you have questions on paying your Camp Invoice, please email campdirector@spa23.com.
