What To Expect...

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to ensure that your service can begin as scheduled. We suggest you leave jewelry at home as it will need to be removed prior to your service. You will be provided a locker inside your treatment room for your clothing and belongings. Please note to refrain from alcohol usage prior to your appointment. If you are running a fever or feeling sick, please cancel your reservation 24 in advance and resched  for when you are feeling better.

Your technician will discuss your needs and customized massage enhancements will be offered and explained. The massage therapist will allow you privacy to undress/dress before and after the massage. You may undress to your comfort level (undergarments are optional). You will be properly draped at all times during the massage, and only one body part will be exposed at a time. While your session takes place, there will be soothing music, a heated table, and soft lighting to help you feel more relaxed. Before a massage, your therapist will ask you to alert them if, at any time during the massage, the pressure or technique is uncomfortable for you.

Most people feel very relaxed and sleepy after a massage. Occasionally, some people will experience slight post massage soreness the day after their massage. This is normal and nothing to worry about. Most people feel a great reduction of their original muscle tightness or pain after their massage.

At Pure Massage, your appointments are very important to us. We understand that appointment times may need to be changed or cancelled. Out of respect for our other guests and your massage therapist, we kindly ask that you notify us 24 hours prior to your reserved time, so we can fill your spot with clients on our wait list that would love to come visit us. If you do not cancel prior to the 24 hour policy, you will be charged 100% of your service price. Any services cancelled same day will be considered a no show and you will be charge 100% of service fee.

We ask all first-time guests to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment so that we can obtain some brief health information and also to answer any questions you may have regarding your service at Pure.

Please reserve your appointment with us as much time in advance as possible as our availability fills up quickly. A valid credit card will be required to guarantee your appointment.

All services allow time 5 minutes before and after for consultation, changing, and rebooking. All one-hour treatments are approximately 50 minutes hands-on. All 30 minute services are approximately 20 minutes hands-on. All 90 minute services are approximately 80 minutes hands on.

We ask that you arrive early for your appointment. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed full service time out of respect for the next scheduled guest.

Minors from 13-17 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and must be present in treatment room. Consent to treat a minor form must be completed 24 hours priors to the reservation time.  Consent to treat a minor form.

We employ both male and female therapists. Please let us know which you prefer. Also, if you would like to request a specific therapist when scheduling your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Your comfort is our priorty. We encourage you to communicate any questions or preferences you may have regarding your service with us to your therapist or the spa receptionist so that we can accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.

If you are scheduled for services at Pure, you are welcome to use the gym on the day of your service. Amenities include: sauna, steamroom, whirlpool, state of the art fitness equipment, *yoga & group classes.

Child Care services are available on the premises for Members and Guests of Pure. Please inquire about fee.

We welcome all expecting mothers after the 1st trimester. Please request certified pre-natal practitioner.

We provide a closet in the treatment room for guests belongings, but we ask that you do not bring your jewelry or any valuable personal possessions to the spa as we cannot be responsible for lost items.

In consideration of all of our guests, please place all cell phones on silent or off when inside Pure.

Gratuities are optional but greatly appreciated. The usual, customary gratuity for a massage is 20% of the actual service value. Gratuity envelopes are available in each treatment room and at the reception desk. You may also leave a gratuity on a credit card or a Money Trasfer App.

If you recieve monthly massages in your Spa 23 or Pure Massage account we encourage you use them and benefit from everything that massage has to offer. Unused massages will expire after 30 days and are non-transferrable.

Pure Gift Cards are perfect for any occasion. You may purchase gift cards at the spa, via email pure@spa23.com, or over the phone by calling 973-839-8823×1. We will be happy to mail them to your home, office, or directly to the recipient.

We accept payment in cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Pure/Spa 23 Gift Cards, and SpaFinder Gift Cards. Please Note: If using a Gift Card, you must present notify Pure while making your reservation.

6.875% sales tax is added to all massages and customized massage enhancements.
